Five members of the Catholic Association for the Protection of the Environment in Burundi (Association Catholique pour la Protection de l’Environnement au Burundi-ACAPE Burundi) benefited from a cascade training on advocacy techniques organized by Ishaka 2250 with the support of UNICEF Burundi. This training was intended for young ambassadors of Burundi in the face of climate change.
This training, which lasted 3 days, from October 17 to 19, 2022, outfitted the youth organizations of Ngozi and Gitega working in the field of climate change. “These young people are very happy to have benefited from this training and promise to continue to improve their advocacy plans to contribute to climate resilience in Burundi,” says Jonas Nduwimana.
